Una visita al mercado con la nieta
Hoy fui al mercado con mi nieta para comprar verduras frescas. Ella es pequeña pero andaba muy rápido entre los puestos.
Yo agarré una bolsa y ella la quiso agarrar también — ¡estaba bromeando con que era muy pesada! Para mí, pasar tiempo con la familia es lo más importante, claro que a veces es difícil encontrar el momento.
Today I went to the market with my granddaughter to buy fresh vegetables. She is small but walked very quickly between the stalls.
I grabbed a bag and she wanted to grab it too — she was joking that it was too heavy! For me, spending time with family is the most important thing, obviously it can sometimes be hard to find the time.

Un paseo por la ciudad vieja
Ayer llegamos a la ciudad por la mañana. Queríamos ver los mejores paisajes desde las alturas. Subimos al funicular para ver la ciudad. El viaje duró solo diez minutos, pero las vistas eran increíbles.
Arriba había una terraza con mesas y sillas. Tomamos un café allí para descansar un poco. Después bajamos a pie por un camino estrecho. Fue un día muy bonito.
Yesterday we arrived in the city in the morning. We wanted to see the best views from up high. We took the funicular to see the city. The ride only lasted ten minutes, but the views were incredible.
At the top there was a terrace with tables and chairs. We had a coffee there to rest for a bit. Then we walked back down along a narrow path. It was a really lovely day.
Preparando la fiesta en casa
Esta tarde, Ana y yo vamos a preparar la fiesta de cumpleaños de su hermano. Compramos globos y pasteles para la celebración. Hay muchos invitados y el salón es pequeño. Necesitamos más mesas para la fiesta.
Le pregunto a Ana por las sillas del jardín. Ella dice que están en el garaje, así que vamos a buscarlas. Por fin, el salón tiene espacio para todos.
This afternoon, Ana and I are going to get her brother's birthday party ready. We bought balloons and cakes for the celebration. There are a lot of guests and the living room is small. We need more tables for the party.
I ask Ana about the chairs from the garden. She says they're in the garage, so we go to look for them. At last, the living room has room for everyone.
