Una caminata de otoño con Renata [anecdote]
Renata me explicó la ruta antes de salir: era fácil y natural, con árboles de otoño por todos lados. Yo llevaba mi camiseta favorita, pero no tardé en entender que hacía demasiado frío para eso.
Después de subir la primera colina, paramos a descansar y Renata dijo: "A partir de ahora, vamos más despacio." Realmente fue la mejor decisión — me pone feliz caminar así, sin prisa y sin interferencias.
Renata explained the route to me before we set off: it was easy and natural, with autumn trees everywhere. I was wearing my favorite t-shirt, but it didn't take long to realize it was way too cold for that.
After climbing the first hill, we stopped to rest and Renata said: "From now on, we go slower." It really was the best decision — it makes me happy to walk like that, unhurried and free of disruptions.

El café derramado por la mañana [anecdote]
Eran las siete de la mañana y Tomás tenía mucha prisa. Agarró su taza de café y la tiró sin querer sobre el teclado. «¡Carajo!», gritó, y corrió a buscar una servilleta. Tuvo que limpiar todo antes de salir al trabajo.
It was seven in the morning and Tomás was in a big hurry. He grabbed his coffee mug and accidentally knocked it onto the keyboard. "Damn it!" he shouted, and ran to find a napkin. He had to clean everything up before leaving for work.
El boleto perdido del concierto [anecdote]
Lucía llegó a la entrada del concierto y buscó su boleto en la bolsa. No estaba en ningún lado — lo había dejado en casa. «Chale», murmuró, y se quedó parada frente a la puerta. Al final tuvo que llamar a su amiga para que le mandara una foto del boleto digital.
Lucía arrived at the concert entrance and looked for her ticket in her bag. It was nowhere to be found — she had left it at home. "Bummer," she muttered, and stood there in front of the door. In the end she had to call her friend to send her a photo of the digital ticket.

Un equipo llega tarde al partido [anecdote]
El autobús del equipo sale con retraso de la ciudad. Los jugadores están muy nerviosos en sus asientos. El entrenador mira el reloj cada dos minutos. Ellos intentan llegar a tiempo.
Por suerte, el tráfico mejora cerca del estadio. Al final, llegan justo antes del pitido inicial.
The team's bus leaves the city behind schedule. The players are very nervous in their seats. The coach checks his watch every two minutes. They try to arrive on time.
Luckily, the traffic clears up near the stadium. In the end, they arrive just before the opening whistle.

Compré higos, los vi en el primer puesto y tenían muy buena pinta.
