Yo me desperté tarde y el cielo estaba despejado desde la ventana. Me quedé en las sábanas unos minutos más porque odio levantarme rápido.
Por fin me levanté, pero cada movimiento se sentía lento — mi cerebro no estaba listo. Debía salir pronto, así que fui al baño a buscar la pasta de dientes. Cuéntame que a ti tampoco te pasa esto por las mañanas.
I woke up late and the sky was clear outside the window. I stayed in the sheets a few more minutes because I hate getting up quickly.
Finally I got up, but every movement felt slow — my brain wasn't ready. I had to leave soon, so I went to the bathroom to find the toothpaste. Tell me you don't go through this in the mornings either.

The manager explains the new work plan and looks at all the employees. Marcos listens carefully and, at the end, nods slowly. He has no questions because the plan seems very clear to him. His colleagues nod as well and the meeting wraps up in five minutes.

Una fiesta de cumpleaños en el parque [character_sketch]
Hoy es el cumpleaños de Rosalba y sus padres organizan una fiesta en el parque. Hay globos de colores, música y muhos niños corriendo por todas partes. La niña tímida se esconde detrás de un árbol grande y no quiere salir. Su madre la llama con voz suave, pero ella no se mueve.
Por fin, una niña se acerca y le ofrece un trozo de pastel. Rosalba sonríe un poco y acepta el pastel sin decir nada. Poco a poco, empieza a jugar con los demás niños.
Today is Rosalba's birthday and her parents are throwing a party at the park. There are colorful balloons, music, and lots of children running around everywhere. The shy girl hides behind a big tree and doesn't want to come out. Her mother calls her in a gentle voice, but she doesn't move.
Finally, a girl comes over and offers her a piece of cake. Rosalba smiles a little and takes the cake without saying anything. Little by little, she starts to play with the other children.
