Esta mañana, mi mascota volvió a hacer de las suyas. Bajé las escaleras y encontré un desastre: había roto una de mis botas favoritas.
Creo que el problema es que se aburre cuando estoy en el trabajo. Por eso voy a comprarle un juguete de buen tamaño la próxima semana. Me gusta que sean atentos los perros, pero el mío todavía no ha aprendido a serlo.
This morning, my pet was up to his tricks again. I came downstairs and found a disaster: he had chewed through one of my favorite boots.
I think the problem is that he gets bored when I'm at work. That's why I'm going to buy him a good-sized toy next week. I like that dogs are attentive, but mine still hasn't learned to be.

Pedro intenta armar una estantería nueva en el salón. Busca en la caja de herramientas y encuentra un tornillo suelto en el suelo. Lo recoge y lo coloca con cuidado en el lugar correcto. Al final, la estantería queda firme y él está muy contento.
Pedro is trying to put together a new bookshelf in the living room. He searches through the toolbox and finds a loose screw on the floor. He picks it up and carefully places it in the right spot. In the end, the bookshelf stands firm and he is very pleased.

Camila conoció a su nueva vecina esta mañana en el pasillo. Es una chica morena con el pelo largo y unos ojos muy expresivos. Parece simpática y tiene una sonrisa muy agradable. Camila quiere invitarla a tomar un café pronto.
Camila met her new neighbor this morning in the hallway. She is a dark-haired girl with long hair and very expressive eyes. She seems friendly and has a very pleasant smile. Camila wants to invite her for coffee soon.

Fermín tiene un resfriado y no se siente bien. Su abuela le prepara una taza de té caliente. Busca la miel en la cocina y la pone en la mesa. La miel endulza el té. Fermín bebe el té despacio y siente un poco de alivio. Su abuela dice que este remedio siempre funciona.
Fermín has a cold and is not feeling well. His grandmother makes him a cup of hot tea. She looks for the honey in the kitchen and puts it on the table. Honey sweetens the tea. Fermín drinks the tea slowly and feels a little relief. His grandmother says this remedy always works.
Intentando entrar a una cuenta [inner_monologue]
Mateo está intentando entrar a su cuenta del banco desde el móvil. Escribe su contraseña tres veces, pero el sistema no la acepta. Siempre olvido mi contraseña, piensa con frustración. Entonces pulsa el botón de "¿Olvidaste tu contraseña?" y espera el correo de verificación.
El correo llega en un minuto y Mateo sigue los pasos para crear una nueva. Esta vez decide anotarla en su cuaderno para no tener que repetir todo esto.
Mateo is trying to log in to his bank account from his phone. He types his password three times, but the system won't accept it. I always forget my password, he thinks, frustrated. So he clicks the "Forgot your password?" button and waits for the verification email.
The email arrives in a minute and Mateo follows the steps to create a new one. This time he decides to write it down in his notebook so he doesn't have to go through all this again.
