Remedios y yo llegamos al parque y encontramos una banca disponible cerca del lago. Ambas queríamos descansar un rato después de caminar tanto.
Ella sacó un libro y empezó a leer tranquilamente bajo el sol. Yo fui a la tienda de abarrotes que estaba aquí mismo, al lado de la entrada. El agua era gratuita con cualquier compra, así que compré una fruta y me dieron una botella. Cuando volví, Remedios levantó la vista y dijo: "¡Híjole!, ¡qué rápido fuiste!"
Remedios and I arrived at the park and found an available bench near the lake. Both of us wanted to rest a while after all that walking.
She took out a book and started to read quietly in the sun. I went to the general store right there, right here next to the entrance. The water was free with any purchase, so I bought some fruit and they gave me a bottle. When I came back, Remedios looked up and said, "Geez, that was fast!"

Elena estaba convencida de que su gato había escondido su anillo favorito debajo de la cama. Se agachó despacio y miró en la oscuridad, pero no veía nada. Elena was convinced her cat had hidden her favourite ring under the bed. She crouched down slowly and peered into the darkness, but she couldn't see anything. She then switched on her phone's torch and started searching more carefully. In the end she found the ring right at the back, next to several of the cat's toys.

Rebeca has to study for her history exam. She sits down at her desk and opens her books. After a while, she starts to feel anxious.
So she decides to put on some background music. The music is very relaxing. Now she can concentrate much better.
