Rodrigo y su hermana pelearon toda la tarde por un juguete viejo. Ella decía que era suyo, pero él no quería devolverlo.
Por eso, su mamá los llamó a los dos y los hizo sentar juntos en el sofá. Les dijo que era necesario hablar con calma, sino buscar una solución juntos. Me parece que los dos tenían algo de razón, así que al final decidieron compartir el juguete.
Rodrigo and his sister fought all afternoon over an old toy. She said it was hers, but he didn't want to give it back.
That's why their mom called them both over and made them sit together on the sofa. She told them it was necessary to talk calmly, rather than look for a solution together. It seems to me that both of them had a point, so in the end they decided to share the toy.

Rodrigo iba caminando por la calle cuando vio algo brillar en el suelo. Se agachó despacio para ver qué era. Era solo un botón plateado, no una moneda. Se rio un poco y siguió su camino.
Rodrigo was walking down the street when he saw something glinting on the ground. He bent down slowly to see what it was. It was just a silver button, not a coin. He laughed a little and went on his way.

Claro, le recomiendo empezar por los salchichones. Los salchichones son embutidos españoles con mucho sabor y muy fáciles de cortar.

Perfecto, me llevo un trozo. ¿Y qué más me sugiere para acompañarlos?

Ponga también un poco de queso manchego al lado y ya tiene una tabla estupenda.

Una visita al viñedo familiar [anecdote]
Rodrigo lleva a su amiga Celeste a ver el viñedo de su familia. Ella nunca había estado en uno antes. El viñedo produce uvas para vino tinto. Rodrigo le explica que la cosecha empieza en septiembre. También le dice que su abuelo plantó las primeras vides hace cuarenta años. Celeste prueba una uva directamente de la planta y sonríe. Al final del día, los dos se sientan a tomar una copa del vino de la familia.
Rodrigo takes his friend Celeste to see his family's vineyard. She had never been to one before. The vineyard produces grapes for red wine. Rodrigo explains to her that the harvest begins in September. He also tells her that his grandfather planted the first vines forty years ago. Celeste tries a grape straight from the vine and smiles. At the end of the day, the two of them sit down to have a glass of the family's wine.
