Una visita al viñedo local [anecdote]
Fermín es el dueño de un viñedo local y últimamente está muy ocupado con la cosecha. Esta mañana tuvo que levantar cajas pesadas y colgar racimos de uvas para que se secaran.
A mediodía, me contó que el terreno es perfecto para sus uvas porque recibe mucho sol. Le dije que suena bien y que me gustaría volver la próxima semana para aprender más.
Fermín is the owner of a local vineyard and lately he has been very busy with the harvest. This morning he had to lift heavy boxes and hang bunches of grapes to dry.
At midday, he told me that the land is perfect for his grapes because it gets a lot of sun. I told him that sounds good and that I would like to come back next week to learn more.

Tomás le explicó que el metro tuvo un problema técnico, pero ella no dijo nada. Al final del día, los dos hablaron y la situación se calmó un poco.
Yesterday, Tomás arrived late to an important meeting and his boss waited for him for half an hour. When he finally showed up, she looked at him and it was obvious she was angry. Tomás explained that the metro had a technical problem, but she didn't say a word. By the end of the day, the two of them talked it out and things calmed down a little.

Una excursión madrugadora a la montaña [diary]
Fermín se despertó muy temprano porque quería ver el amanecer. Salió de la cabaña con su chaqueta y una taza de café caliente. Caminó despacio hasta llegar a la cima.
El amanecer en la montaña es muy bonito. El cielo se llenó de colores naranja y rosa en pocos minutos. Fermín sacó su teléfono y tomó varias fotos. Luego se quedó allí un rato más, sin hacer nada, solo mirando.
Fermín woke up very early because he wanted to see the sunrise. He left the cabin with his jacket and a cup of hot coffee. He walked slowly until he reached the top.
The sunrise on the mountain is very beautiful. The sky filled with shades of orange and pink within minutes. Fermín took out his phone and snapped several photos. Then he stayed there a little longer, doing nothing — just watching.
